Pain is Temporary, Pride is Forever

A blog to summarize my fitness, health (and sometimes) dietary accomplishments. I have named my blog "Pain in Temporary, Pride is Forever" after the signs held by spectators during my first marathon (NYC 2009). This phrase inspired me to keep going during the last 6 miles.

I originally created this blog to talk about my running. 3 marathons later, I found myself getting hurt too much (my knees and IT bands), so I decided to try out swimming and biking. I started doing triathlons and am hooked! I did my first Ironman (Ironman Canada) on 8/28/2011.
